I'm here!

I have an LJ account, same name.  It's actually a permanent paid account, so I've been cross-posting to it, from here.  I'm just now trying this import thing.  Not sure how it'll work.  Will I be able to read my friends' journals from LJ on this site or not?  Just curious.  Thanks!

No, I don't think you can read your friend's entries from LJ on here. :( But at least you can cross-post! :D

If I remember correctly, that's actually a feature in development.

I think you can read them if you add their openID accounts as a news feed......or something.

I have not actually done this, but I think that it is possible.

You can read their public entries if you add their livejournal feed (not the OpenID feed).

Go to your friend's LJ, and add /data/rss to the url: http://username.livejournal.com/data/rss

Copy-paste (or just type) that feed url into the textbox on the syndication page. Then subscribe to the feed.

Just remember, that the feed will only pick up public posts. If you want to read locked posts, you have to go to LJ to do it. They are trying to figure out a way so that you could read locked posts on LJ to which you have access on your DW reading list, but have not yet found a non-evil/non-privacy-borking way to do it.

Not at present. It's under development.
