Access/Subscriptions with LJ users

Greetings everyone!

I am not sure if I am understanding access/subscriptions correctly here....so I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question...

But none of my friends from LJ can view my entries here on DW, even though I gave them accesses (they are logged into their accounts on LJ). 

I also can't see their posts on my reading page even though I am subscribed to them. 

Did LJ now block the ability to share connections from there to here, too?

They would have to come over here to see your entries, and log in through an OpenID account. Likewise, you'd have to go over to LJ to see their entries, or either of you could set up an RSS feed and subscribe to it on the site you'd want to read on -- but you wouldn't be able to see LJ entries friends locked entries, sorry.

Of course the other solution is to tell them to get the heck out of LJ and come over here so you can play together in the same sandbox. ;-)
