For those who have multiple journals at LJ

I just figured out that DW will let you import content from more than one journal to your account here. It just integrates everything into your existing account, if that's what you want to do.

I had a smaller, secondary account I didn't use much but wanted to archive.  Imported it right in, icons and privacy settings and all, no problem.

The only thing I noticed is that DW doesn't do anything to mark which posts came from which journal, so if you need to track things easily, you'll want to tag your secondary journal posts before you import.  Losing the distinction wasn't a problem for me, fortunately.

I'm not sure if it's possible in LJ to do a mass-edit on tags, as I've never tried it, but it might be worth looking at.  It's just nice to know I didn't need a second journal here to import my second journal from there.

I did this yesterday, because I have a personal journal and a fic journal over on LJ, and yeah - works fine, all integrated to one account now. Couldn't believe how easy it was.

How much do I wish I'd kept my fanfic in a journal, over on lj, rather than in a community, oh my god? XD;

Weeeelll, if you can still find said fic, there's always the copy-paste option, so you can put it in new posts over here.

I've actually been doing that a bit, to be honest. Only this year's worth, though. I couldn't face a job any bigger than that. XD
