LJ Refugees Friending Meme!
So. Now that we're here, we can take steps to make Dreamwidth an even greater place to be! The biggest complaint I've seen from LJ users (including myself) is that DW just doesn't have the same community activity as LJ. Well, this is our chance to get that community going!

Subsequent friending memes can always be found by using the "friending meme" tag.
Basically, I hope that as DW becomes more active and becomes more of a community, people won't feel as torn about leaving LJ/The Legion of Doom. We shouldn't have to choose between our fandoms/interests and patronizing a company that has left its customers behind.
[For those who haven't seen this yet: apparently there is a VERY big financial component in the new relationship between LJ/Facebook/Twitter. Or, if you prefer, LiveFaceTwit.]
