Travel!

I've noticed lots of people pimping out their new comms, so I figured I'd join in the foray! haha. On LJ I've been a big fan/user of the various travel comms, since, well, I love traveling and exploring new places and seeing what they're all about. I searched over here and didn't come up with anything. D=

So, I made travel_europe and world_travel, I hope you'll all check them out and join and use them for all your traveling needs! ^__^


And if you have any other comm related to some sort of travel or travel-related area, let me know, and we can promote each other! ^^

I'll definitely be checking both of them out! I'm more of a roadtrip type gal (easier on the wallet!) so my travels are normally limited to the US, but I love seeing pictures and reading about other countries.

The world one will totally be inclusive of the US, I know one of the more broad/generic ones on LJ always got a decent amount of US posts, so once people start finding it and everything, it should be useful for that as well! Advice on routes to take, or things to do in whichever US cities and whatnot, definitely fair game for world_travel! ^__^

I just got from a dreamtrip to the UK, and I'm already planning my return (as well as my retirement there, heh). I'd love a place to compare notes, swap stories, and gather great tips, so of course joined both comms.

Very kool, glad to have you! If you want, it'd be a great start if you'd make posts about your trip - share both the good and not-so-good things you saw/did, places you went, and whatnot, post photos, etc! ^^
