I am pretty offended at the notion that DW's fanfic origins are a defect, because that implies that my interests and hobbies are defective. All the same, you kind of are being a dick.

I explained in my comment on the other post that I did not mean that she should leave/isn't allowed here/etc etc, but that perhaps another site would suit her better.

Well, thanks for making Dreamwidth look like a den of otaku who hate all non-fen.

Seriously, this site is for everyone, not just fans. It wasn't even really founded for fandom.

Um, that's not what I'm saying at all. Just that it's fandom heavy, and that if she dislikes fandom so much she has to have a filter to get rid of the word, that perhaps another site would suit her better.

Anyone can be on DW, of course. I just thought maybe this wasn't the site best suited for her.
