Friending Meme, Part Deux: Electric Boogaloo

Our original friending meme was getting pretty overwhelmed, so I thought now would be as good of a time as any to get a new one started. If you have the time and inclination, feel free to go back through the introductions and comments at the old post. It seems like there was a good amount of meeting and greeting going on, which was very nice to see. Hopefully it will be just as successful the second time around!

Fandoms: Too many to mention them all - current or long-lasting ones include Doctor Who, Elfquest, Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter, Farscape, NCIS, Harry Potter, various Gundam series, Princess Tutu, Sailor Moon, Lie To Me, Star Trek, The Vorkosigan Saga, Sagaen om Isfolket, Babylon 5, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and X-Men. *phew* Also, any and all crossovers.

Other Interests: Music (playing and listening to), writing, SF, fantasy, supernatural/urban fantasy, crosstitching, literature in general and popular literature in particular, comics, fanfic as a subject of research, and winter sports (especially biathlon).

What people can expect to find in your journal: Sometimes not much, as it may take a while between posts - although moving to DW seems to have made me more eager to journal again. Babbling and long-windedness, mostly about my life in Norway and Ireland but also about my fandoms. The occasional fic (mostly crossovers), and moaning about how I should be working on my PhD thesis instead of being on DW.

Anything else: That's me on that icon up there, sort of.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen anyone mention Sagan om Isfolket... it's probably over a decade since I last read any of those books, but I did love them dearly. Oh and you like Babylon 5! And comics and crossovers... Mind if subscirbe? (that is the right word on DW, right?)

I reread it last Yule, and then Heksemesteren and Sagnet om Lysets Rike this summer. They are so very cliché and the language repeats itself, but she drags me in every time... :~)
