Anyone seen any new 'friending' memes lately?

I see one down a few entries from 2015..... as I seem to be (finally( making the move here official, I'd love to re-energize with some new folks....

Seconding the hope for a get-to-know-you party, either here or somewhere else but linked here. It'd be fun!

I'll third that.

Yes, I would like that too.

Check out 2017revival. This parallels an LJ community, and many of the recent LJ emigrés are introducing themselves over there. I've already found a bunch of interesting folks there, and still haven't gone through the entire list.

It's barely a week old on DW, and has dozens of entries already.

You might also want to check out addme_fandom which is basically a friending meme :)

Will, do thanks! :)

The community 2017Revival seems to be pretty active with new people looking for friends. i've managed to re-energize my list over the last couple days. :)

I'll check it out, thanks! :)
