DW's one-stop community for all things off-topic!

I noticed that plenty of large LiveJournal communities (the ones with thousands of members) have created their own "sub" off-topic communities for the members. DW is significantly different in that there aren't as many gigantic communities, so naturally, I haven't been able to find an active OT one around.

Therefore, I'd like to welcome you all to join ffa--where anything goes! Consider it a free-for-all forum where you can stop by and say anything on your mind. This is different than a friending meme, because you can mingle with other DW users (about anything) without feeling obligated to add each other as friends!

...sure, I'll bite: I join a zillion communities here and very few ever say anything, so I just wind up reading the 230+ feeds that I mostly made myself...maybe someone will browse them and find ones they enjoy...

ETA: My husband walked in just as I was typing the comment so I got distracted. I was going to say that this is exactly the sort of thing I have been hoping would pop up on DW. I recently joined because of the drama in LJ, but not sure I'm going to leave LJ, and I'm not keen on friending people I don't really know. This is a great way to get to know people first. Thank you! :)
