Hello LJ Refugees!

I've come over here following a good friend, since LJ has become very social-dominant and lost its roots.

My journal is mostly public and fandom based. I post on things I've read and watched (currently I am a HUGE fan of Doctor Who, Merlin, etc); it varies. I'm always looking for new friends and fans to communicate with, and I love good ol' fashioned journaling, as I've made some outstanding and long-lasting friendships that way. I just want to put myself out there in case anyone shares the same interests, or just wants to make another friend.

Hi there! I'm a 37-year-old English female, and I live with my partner of four years - nicknamed "Tribble (you can see where this is going, can't you).

I've been a Doctor Who fan since childhood; favourite Doctors are Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Christopher Eccleston and Matt Smith, with favourite companions being Jamie, Jo, Sarah Jane, The Brigadier, Donna, Rory and Wilf (I believe he counts).

I'm generally a sci-fi geek, who can list SJA, Star Trek (most series), Being Human, Chuck, The Mentalist, Buffy/Angel, Red Dwarf, Life On Mars/Ashes To Ashes, Firefly/Serenity, Moonlight, Leverage and Merlin as my favourite shows. I also enjoy reading and cross-stitch.

I write about life, the universe, and everything and would love to be friends!

Hi! I'm a 45-year old American female in North Carolina.

I'm a serious science-fiction/fantasy geek - books, movies, television, graphic novels, anything - and have been since childhood. I love Doctor Who, Merlin, Being Human (the UK version), Firefly, Fringe, Star Trek, SG-1, and The Sentinel, to name a few. Although currently I'm kind of obsessed with BBC's Sherlock.

I'm fairly lurky as far as posting but I read my friends list and comment. Most of my public posts are stories and the like, although I'm trying to get better about posting conversationally.

It looks like we have a lot of the same interests - I'd love to be friends!
