ALERT!: Impersonator/Plagiarist on DW

Recently somebody under the username of bayliss opened an account here on dreamwidth and began posting deadliest catch fanfic.

There is reason to believe that this is a sockpuppet account for the purpose of harrassing and plagiarising Deadliest Catch fanfic from a user on Livejournal who also goes under the name of bayliss. This report on the LJ comm Stop_plagiarism tells the tale of the original impersonation/plagiarism:

The updated report lists some of the DW bayliss other accounts, including another FF.net account, the DW account, Wordpress account and another LJ sockpuppet account:

Listed in DW bayliss' profile under communites are bayliss_fanfic and bayliss_fic. As the bayliss on LJ maintains they do not possess any account on DW, I would suspect that these are sockpuppet communities to further the impersonation, plagiarism, and harrassment of the LJ bayliss.

bayliss has disabled PMs.

I sent a version of this to DW support, unfortunately the LJ bayliss will have to make the report personally in order for DW to deal with this.

In the course of this I also discovered this bayliss also has an AO3 account.

UPDATE: The Dreamwidth journals has been suspended.

Un-effing believable. And bayliss has posted the exact same plagiarized stories again. Are you sure DW can't do something immediately given that these stories are already documented as plagiarized, and bayliss has already stated on the stop_plagiarism comm that she doesn't have a DW account ?

They've posted the same stories on the AO3 account as well. Some asshats have big brass balls. *shakes head*

The email I got back said that bayliss had to do it herself before DW could do anything. Either through open ID or through an email request. *sighs*

I hope she does report this bastard. DW are, thankfully, pretty quick at jumping on asshattery, from what I've seen.
